According to Variety, actress and singer Mandy Moore is set to lead an erotic thriller series, Teach Me, currently in development at Peacock, about “a teacher wielding power over an impressionable but unreliable student, and what happens when that student becomes the teacher,” per the official logline. “A fun, twisted cat-and-mouse game that explores the blurred lines between sex, power and addiction.”
Lisa Rubin is the writer and executive producer, with Moore executive producing.
According to Deadline, director Darren Aronofsky and Gillian Flynn (Gone Girl) are working on an original erotic thriller for Sony Pictures, written by Flynn. The plot details are being kept under wraps.
Bridgerton star Regé Jean-Paige is set to lead a new “erotic” thriller series, Hancock Park, which is currently in development for Netflix. Page will play “a dangerously charismatic outsider” who infiltrates a “seemingly picture-perfect Los Angeles family” from the comfort of his rented pool house.
