In the past few hours, many legendary softcore stars have remembered Julie Strain, who died at 58. Among these, Regina Russell, who wrote through her facebook page:
Of the many many good memories I have of Julie Strain and the many photos, here’s just a few of us being goofballs at a Duran Duran concert. One of my favorite memories with her. Julie Strain was one hell of a woman. We were all just lucky to know her. #ripjuliestrain #ripjulie
Also Tiffany Shepis has remembered Julie Strain in a touching post on facebook:
Rip Julie Strain. We did Delta Delta Die together and full moon made two covers…I remember really wanting to be on the cover with you and Brinke Stevens. Legends. After filming we became friends and often did photos together. Some of the most fun, coolest shots I have, were taken by you. I’ll post the others as I find them. I’m sad that we hadn’t spoken in many years, but you will always be remembered fondly. My heart goes out to her family and all who loved her
Another touching message is from Monique Parent, who shared with Julie many movie experience. Monique send to Sreviews this beautiful thought about Julie:
I am so deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Julie Strain. I first met her on Blonde Heaven and we shared a dressing room. She was the most amazing woman I had ever met. So brazen and confident with everything. So sure of herself. She took command of every room she was in and everybody loved her. We worked together on several films and we always had so much fun together. I met her mother. She met mine. We were glamorous sometimes. But mostly I remember us laughing together on set, in our flannel shirts and Ugg boots. That is how I will always remember Julie Strain – a beautiful, strong woman who didn’t give a rats ass about what she looked like, embracing life to the fullest. I love you, Julie. I will miss your laugh. Rest now, my dear, Rest In Peace.
